The Florida budget was signed on June 30th, 2026. Among the items vetoed by Governor DeSantis was the Innovative Service Development Grant Program. This grant funded important programs like Martin County Transit and Advantage Rides to provide transportation to day programs, work, school, and medical appointments for those who need it most. We deeply feel the pain of this change, as do many of you. For those impacted please give us a call and we will work out a temporary lower rate to help ease this transitionary period.

An Answer to Care is a licensed Nurse Registry that refers Aides and Nurses to provide Private Duty Home Care, including essential medical transportation services. Our mission is to refer high quality, caring, and professional caregivers to the elderly, disabled, and infirmed, supporting them to remain independent in their own homes. Our services are designed to allow individuals to direct the care they receive, ensuring they remain in control of their own lives. We believe that everyone we touch is entitled to be treated with dignity and respect, not only the clients but also the caregivers we refer. By treating others with dignity and respect and upholding high ethical values, we gain the trust and respect necessary to excel at what we do. We take pride in referring the highest quality caregivers at rates that are affordable. Our vision is to be viewed as a favorable solution to the challenges families face as loved ones go through the aging process, including finding reliable senior transportation options.
We refer Home Health Aides and Certified Nurses’ Assistants who offer personal care services such as assistance with bathing, dressing, eating, light housekeeping, laundry, shopping, errands, and also wheelchair transportation when needed. Additionally, we refer licensed nurses who can perform skilled nursing care requested by a client’s physician in compliance with Florida State Laws, such as wound care and medication administration. There are many benefits to contracting with our Nurse Registry! We screen the caregivers, but the client directs the care, choosing what days, times, and services work best for them! The caregivers we refer are independent contractors, allowing clients to select their preferred caregiver. If at any time a caregiver is unavailable for any reason, we maintain a large base of quality caregivers to ensure clients won't go without care! Furthermore, using a Nurse Registry is a cost-effective way to receive care, as caregiver registries typically deliver quality care for 10-30% less than other business models. We also work with Long Term Care Insurance Companies to file claims on behalf of our clients.
